It was still a fun season

The beginning of the season was ugly. The team started 0-2, and then 2-4.

There was Kam Chancellor’s holdout; blown forth-quarter leads; and horrendous play by the offense, especially the line.

The Seahawks turned it around though. Just like they always have since they drafted Russell Wilson. They went on a dominating run down the stretch, and fought their way back into the playoffs.

It turned out not to be a third-straight Super Bowl season. How spoiled are we that this is a disappointment? How lucky are we that there’s no reason to suspect they won’t make another run next season?

For all this team’s flaws, it was still one of the very best in the NFL.
