This seven round Seattle Seahawks mock draft, including trades, has the Seahawks looking for help in the trenches.

This is my pre-combine mock draft so I expect a lot may change as prospect measurements are refined later this week and free agency opens the week after. I think Seattle will be active in free agency along both the offensive and defensive lines so that will drive future mock draft projections significantly. Until then, these are players I could see Seattle targeting in this years draft.

Of note, compensatory draft selections are based on Over the Cap’s compensatory draft pick projections. For trades, I used the standard draft trade value chart you can find on many websites.

1-26: TRADE!

Seattle sends pick 1-26 to Cleveland for selections 2-1 (32nd overall) and 4-1 (100th overall).

The least shocking thing Seattle could do in the draft is trade out of the first round and that’s exactly what I predict today. The strength of this years draft pool appears to be interior offensive and defensive linemen, both areas of need for Seattle. This presents the ideal scenario for trading back without losing much player value while accruing an extra middle round pick.
