Round 6, Pick 40: Stephen Weatherly, DE/OLB, Vanderbilt

Weatherly is a bit of a poor-man’s Bruce Irvin. He is long, highly athletic and able to play both OLB and DE. Weather isn’t as dynamic as Irvin, but very few players are.

Weather is definitely an unfinished product. He needs to improving his playing strength and add to his pass rushing moves. Given time, Weathery looks like he could be the long-term solution at SAM LB for the Seahawks.
