JORDAN HILL, DT

Hill showed flashes of being a dominant interior pass rusher with a 4.5 sack flurry over the last four games of the 2014 season. But since then he’s spent more time injured, or under performing.

Clearly, the Seahawks are looking for help in that pass-rushing DT role, as they took Frank Clark in round 2 last May, and traded up to get Maryland’s Quinton Jefferson in the 5th this year. Both of those guys figure to have big roles in the defensive line rotation.

It seems Hill is doing all he can to fit into that battle, as his official listed weight is down to 290 this year from 303. He can see the writing on the wall, but he’ll need a healthy, and dominant training camp to ensure he’s on the roster for opening day.

Hill is signed through this season, and the Seahawks would see a cap savings of $695,000 if he’s traded or released.
