Left Guard:

Starter: Mark Glowinski

Glowinski was a backup throughout last season as a rookie, but he did start 1 game during the season and did quite well.  Pete Carroll talked highly of him after that game and Glowinski proved he can be a starter in the NFL.  With Ifedi playing right guard, Glowinski looks to be the favorite to win the guard spot on the left side.

Backup: Justin Britt

There aren’t many Britt fans left, and last season was not good by any measure.  Britt needs to have the best training camp of his life in order to have a shot.  What is working for Britt, though, is his ability to play every position on the line.  This versatility will help him get a spot on the team for 2016.

Backup: Rees Odhiambo

Odhiambo was drafted by the Seahawks in the 3rd round of the 2016 NFL draft and will bring competition at left guard right away.  He moves really well for a 315-pound man and has a lot of talent, but fell in the draft due to injuries.   If Odhiambo can stay healthy, he has a lot of potential to make an immediate impact.
