#2 Russell Wilson’s health

It’s kind of the elephant in the room, isn’t it? No one wants to talk about what would happen if Wilson were to get hurt. The Seahawks appear prepared to roll the dice on keeping undrafted rookie Trevone Boykin as their backup QB, and while he has some exciting potential…….what if? 

Could Boykin make enough plays to allow the Seahawks to win games in Wilson’s absence?

The good news is that Wilson is a guy who keeps himself in elite condition, and knows how to avoid hits whenever possible. But the hits he takes behind a rebuilt offensive line this year will make us all cringe, won’t they? In this way, Seattle’s Super Bowl hopes may be solely dependent on Wilson’s ability to stay on the field.
