3) Wide Receivers

This position group is no longer considered “pedestrian”.  In fact, they have a lot of talent and have one of the best wide receivers in the NFL in Doug Baldwin.  Baldwin had the best season of his career putting up remarkable numbers, especially in the second half of the year.  He finished the season with 1,069 yards and 14 touchdowns, and was rewarded with a four-year contract extension this offseason.

Tyler Lockett is the second best receiver on this team and he had a great rookie season, finishing with 51 catches and 664 yards.  His ability to make plays down the field, as well as his route running on shorter passes, keeps defenders guessing on every play.

We shouldn’t forget about Jermaine Kearse, though, as he continually makes clutch plays for this offense and Russell Wilson can always count on him.

Paul Richardson is going into his third season and should make the roster as long as he stays healthy.  His speed is a huge asset to the offense, and no one can cover him on the deep ball when he hits top speed.

Kasen Williams, Kevin Smith, Kenny Lawler, and Douglas McNeil III will all be fighting for a roster spot, and all these players have the ability to make solid contributions to the offense.
