Right Defensive End

Starter: Michael Bennett

Backup: Frank Clark

Michael Bennett might not be happy about his contract, but he’s one of the most efficient pass rushers in the entire NFL. He starts on the outside in the base defense, and moves inside when the Seahawks shift into the nickel.

2015 second round pick Frank Clark is Bennett’s direct backup, but he doesn’t just play when Bennett comes off the field. Clark will also be the guy who comes onto the field whenever Bennett moves inside. Those are the pass-rushing snaps that Bruce Irvin was given the last two seasons.
