Middle Linebacker

Starter: Bobby Wagner

Backup: Brock Coyle

Not all the All-Pros on Seattle’s defense are in the secondary. Let’s not forget the importance of Bobby Wagner to this defense.

Wagner’s speed and sure tackling are a big part of why the Seahawks are so good on defense. Opposing teams know that if they cannot get Wagner blocked, he’s going to make the tackle right at the line of scrimmage.

Behind Wagner is the same guy that’s been there the last two seasons. Brock Coyle isn’t the same kind of athlete as Wagner, but he’s a true blue-collar worker who doesn’t make mistakes. Coyle is also an essential part of Seattle’s special teams.
