Right Cornerback

Starter: Jeremy Lane

Backup: DeShawn Shead

After watching Brandon Browner and then Byron Maxwell leave for big contracts the previous two offseasons, the Seahawks made it a priority to create some stability at the spot opposite of Sherman. Jeremy Lane is back, and is set to be starter in the spot this season.

Lane, and his backup DeShawn Shead, will both see considerable playing time this season. Shead might be the backup when the Seahawks are in their base defense, but the moment they move to the nickel he’ll be coming onto the field.
