We listed these guys together because of how similar they are in size, playing style and opportunity. Both are undersized (Perkins 6-2, 233 and Overton at 6-1, 226) but both come off the edge with their hair on fire. Both made positive impressions in OTA’s and mini-camps and drew the public praise of Pete Carroll.

There aren’t many opportunities for defensive linemen to make this roster, but if one of these small-school pass rush specialists shows in camp that they could be a QB terror in the future, the team may feel it would be too much of a risk to try and sneak them on the practice squad. And if either has a truly outstanding camp, they could work their way into a situational role as a pass rusher.
