Football fans in the northwest are familiar with Williams. Former Gatorade national HS player of the year and 5 star recruit who looked all-world at UW before injures robbed him of the explosion that made him unique.
After a year on the Seahawks practice squad, Williams looks close to his old self again and drew raves last year for seemingly making a highlight-reel catch in every practice. He was active for a couple games last year and made one catch for 8 yards.
At 6-1 and 219 he fits a similar athletic mold to another ex-Husky, Jermaine Kearse. If Williams can show the willingness and ability to excell on special teams and as a blocker, he could make the team as a 5th or 6th WR this year and someday take snaps from his ex Husky teammate.

HONORABLE MENTION: Tyvis Powell, S, Ohio State
Why didn’t I mention Powell? Because at this point I’m not even sure he qualifies as a sleeper. He was a star player for the national champion Buckeyes and is generally regarded as having a great shot to make the team as a backup safety. The same could be said for fellow UDFA QB Trevone Boykin, who is looking more and more like a slam-dunk to be Russell Wilson’s backup in 2016.
