The Seattle Seahawks injury report is out, and the team is surprisingly healthy as they head into their Week 1 matchup vs the Miami Dolphins. Guys we assumed were out have a shot at playing.

The Seattle Seahawks injury report for week 1 of the 2016 NFL season has been released and contains a bit of a surprise.

There was a collective groan from fans this week when rookie offensive lineman Germain Ifedi left practice with a high ankle sprain. Just as the season was about to start, the first round draft pick, who has played very well in the pre season, was expected to be out for at least a few weeks.

Today, head coach Pete Carroll talked about Ifedi’s injury, saying it was a “good little sprain” but didn’t give a time line on his return. In the injury report, Ifedi is listed as questionable, not out, which gives hope that he may return sooner than expected.

Superstar tight end Jimmy Graham is also listed as questionable. Fans always knew Graham’s return relied on how quickly he recovered from his patellar tendon injury from last season. Graham has looked good in practice and will probably play soon, maybe even as soon as Sunday.

The other tight end on the list, Nick Vannett, is listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Vannett has been fighting an ankle injury for a while now, and it looks like it will take a while longer before he is game ready.

It’s nothing but good news for fans of running back Thomas Rawls. It looks like he will play, although with limited snaps, this weekend.

As for Miami, their injury report was a bit longer than Seattle’s. Six players are listed as questionable, with both Pro Bowl center Mike Pouncey and rookie running back Jay Ajayi listed as out. Pouncey hurt his hip in Miami’s preseason game against Dallas.
