4. Richard Sherman had a rare off-day

The Seahawks matched up Richard Sherman onBrandon Marshall all day. It was a battle that Marshall won early on, but then Sherman got his revenge later.

Marshall had 3 catches for 72 yards and a TD in the first half. He finished with 4 catches for 89 yards.

It is rare that anyone can beat Sherman even once in a game. For Marshall to get those catches and yards against Sherman is downright surprising.

Sherman got his revenge later in the game with a pair of interceptions. He also almost had a 3rd pick that was ruled an incompletion.

Fitzpatrick began trying to force the ball to Marshall, and Sherman took advantage of that. Sherman is simply too good to test that many times in one game. Eventually he’s going to make you pay for throwing in his direction.
