The Seahawks had some players get a lot more snaps than expected on Thursday. Unfortunately, some others got far less. Here are the snap counts. Plus, a reaction to pro Football Focus’s grades from the Cardinals game.

Seahawks left tackle Matt Tobin got 49 percent of the snaps on Thursday. This is not really good. Tobin was not brought in to be a starter. And yet, he almost got starter reps against the Cardinals. This was due to Duane Brown hurting his ankle.

A good thing, though, is that every other starter on the Seahawks offensive line played every snap. This means the line will continue to build cohesion. Hopefully. And hopefully that will be a good thing. Quarterback Russell Wilson was under pressure on only six dropbacks against Arizona.

Defensively, Bobby Wagner and Bradley McDougald played every snap. Frank Clark played just 38 percent of downs, partly because he left the game with an injured thigh. Kam Chancellor played 89 percent of snaps. Chancellor may have been the best player on the Seahawks team on Thursday.

Pro Football Focus’s grades and more Chancellor

Chancellor was a freak on Thursday. No surprise, really. Chancellor has a chance to be in the Hall of Fame just as fellow safety Earl Thomas does. But Chancellor did this on Thursday…

And this…

And this…

Due to all these moments and more, Pro Football Focus game Chancellor the Seahawks highest grade on Thursday at 91.5. Chancellor had a tackle of Adrian Peterson for a safety, forced a Peterson fumble (not the first time that has happened) and broke up a pass in the end zone. Plus, he had ten total tackles. Thursday may have been Chancellor’s best game of 2017.

Doug Baldwin had the highest grade on offense with 82.1. Baldwin caught every one of his five targets, even though he was played with an injured leg.
