Seahawks vs. 49ers: Prediction and how to watch
By Lee Vowell
The Seahawks defeated the 49ers 12-9 in week two. Seattle was much healthier then and the 49ers still not good. Week two was at home for Seattle. The 49ers get the home game this week. Who will win?
The Seahawks still have the two best players on the field on Sunday versus the San Francisco 49ers. Russell Wilson and Earl Thomas can and should make the difference in this game. That said, the 49ers, though 1-9, don’t really get blown out all that much. The three teams that won easily over San Fran have a combined record of 21-10.
I expect this to be another close game for Seattle. The Seahawks rarely make games laid-back for us 12s. Fans expect close games and Seattle victories. It would be nice if a blowout for Seattle would happen this week, but it won’t.
Wilson has the highest passer rating in the NFL when under pressure (115.9). The 49ers like to blitz. I see this being another game where Wilson is running around being Russell Wilson and making plays that shouldn’t be made. In other words, just like most every other Seattle game.
Prediction: Seattle 21 49ers 18
