The Seahawks have announced how you can get training camp tickets. Want to be one of the lucky few? Here’s how.

The Seahawks have a loyal following. They call themselves ’12s’ or ’12th Man.’ This may be breaking news to you, 12s. But it’s not, is it? You live in the Seattle area and want your training camp tickets, right?

On Thursday morning (at 10 am, mind you), you have your chance. First, get yourself an internet connection. Second, make sure that internet connection is a speedy one. (You shouldn’t use your AOL dial-up for this.) Third, cross your fingers. But whatever you do, you must go to this site –  https://www.seahawks.com/schedule/events/2018/training-camp/ – to register for tickets.

In 2017, 32,000 fans registered online to try to go to Seahawks training camp. Not a lot were able to get tickets. Seattle has lots of loyal fans, you see. And even if you have season tickets, you aren’t guaranteed a shot at seeing practices. If you hold a season ticket, you have chance to pre-register. Do this and again…cross your fingers.

Seattle will have 12 open practices beginning July 26th. The last practice will be August 16th. Seattle’s final practice will be open to viewing by season ticket holders only. (By the way, don’t hold your breath on getting season tickets either.)

Next: Rasheem Green will be at practice but will he be good in 2018?

Finally, you must park at the The Landing Shopping Center in Renton. And while practice is free, the shuttle to and from the parking lot is not. Each person will be charged $9 to ride the shuttle back and forth from practice to the car. (However, if you are an excellent swimmer you may be able to arrive by Lake Washington. Actually, don’t try that. I was just joking.)
