The Seahawks are 4-4 going into week 10 to face the 8-1 Rams. To get a Rams point of view, I asked Steve Rivera of Ramblin’ Fan five questions about Los Angeles.

Both the Seahawks and the Rams need a win in week 10 for totally different reasons. Seattle hopes to keep playoff hopes alive. Los Angeles is in a battle for NFC home-field advantage. The Rams have more talent. But never discount Russell Wilson.

To get a Rams perspective on the week 10 matchup in Los Angeles, I asked Steve Rivera of FanSided’s Rams blog, Ramblin’ Fan, five questions about Seattle’s Sunday opponent. Does he think Seattle has any chance to win?

The Rams defense

12th Man Rising: There are few negatives for the Rams in 2018 but the defense overall may be one. There is so much talent on that side of the ball for Los Angeles so why do they seem to be underperforming a bit?

Steve Rivera: That’s a riddle that doesn’t seem to have an answer and may not this season. Clearly the injury to Aqib Talib has hurt, Ndamukong Suh hasn’t been that complimentary piece many hoped for with Aaron Donald, and Marcus Peters has been a huge disappointment. Peters has seen a lot more of his coverage targeted, and one on one he’s been a disaster. For those who may remember, one concern a lot of analysts had was whether that group would gel. The verdict at the midway point is that it simply hasn’t. That said, you have to think things get better when Talib gets back for Week 13 against Detroit.
