The Seahawks need a win. So do the Packers. Here is what to expect and how to watch the Thursday night game between Seattle and Green Bay.

The Seahawks play at home on Thursday and the Packers aren’t good on the road. This is no time for Seattle to allow Green Bay to get their first win away from Lambeau Field in 2018. If Seattle has any hopes to make the playoffs this year, they must beat Green Bay on Thursday.

Of course, Green Bay feels the same way. Aaron Rodgers knows how well Philip Rivers did against the Seahawks’ young secondary and also knows he is the better quarterback. Seattle has to stop Green Bay from explosive plays and simply eating clock by throwing to open receivers in the middle of the field.

Seattle and Russell Wilson will want to run the ball effectively against the 22nd-ranked run defense of the Packers. Chris Carson and D.J. Fluker will return so Seattle has no excuses for not being effective chewing up yards on the ground.

This game will come down to which team uses its offensive scheme better: Aaron Rodgers and his arm or Russell Wilson and Chris Carson with their legs.
