Seahawks versus the Los Angeles Rams

In 2018, the Rams went to the Super Bowl and looked like they would be good for several years to come. The Seahawks were not supposed to be nearly as good as the Rams were last year. Still, Seattle played Los Angeles closely in both games the teams played last season. In fact, the Seahawks could have won at least one of them.

In 2019, the Rams should be a Super Bowl contender once again. But so could Seattle. The teams will battle for the NFC West title and that could come down to whichever team gets the better of the two matchups in 2019.

There are simply too many stars when the teams face off for the NFL not to put one of the two games the teams have on the schedule against each other on primetime. Even casual fans want to watch Russell Wilson versus Aaron Donald, Jared Goff versus Frank Clark and Todd Gurley versus Bobby Wagner.

Of course, Seattle was expected to not be near the quality of the Rams last year and played two surprisingly close games. Maybe 2019 will be different and the Seahawks will get blown out. Or more likely. Seattle versus Los Angeles in primetime will feature two playoff-bound teams.
