Ticket venue Vivid Seats released a fan map showing the favorite team and player in each county of the United States. One thing is certain, Seahawks fans are everywhere.

Vivid Seats, using proprietary sales data and incorporating social media data, released their yearly map of favorite NFL team and player in every county in the United States. The information gathered from the data as it relates to the Seahawks proves that Seattle football is popular even in the most of unlikely places. Also, Russell Wilson translates to fans all across the country.

Of course, we know in the Pacific Northwest that Seattle football is one of the more important things in life. But one could argue that the same holds true for fans of the Bears in Chicago and the Falcons of Atlanta. 12s, however, live everywhere.

Some of the counties beyond the shire of Seattle where 12s account for the ruling football fan class of the county include Hamilton County in New York state. In a sea of Carolina Panther blue, Montgomery County, North Carolina, decided rightfully they should pull for the Seahawks. If you are in Tennessee and want to be in the majority then visit a bar in Sequatchie County on game days and sit with fellow 12s.

Near Packers territory? Don’t worry. 12s can cross over to Ontonagon County in Michigan where Seattle football is more important than other (lesser) teams. The same goes for Noble County, Oklahoma. The Seahawks are number one there too.

The ticket service partnered with opendorse, a social publishing platform that helps athletes share content on social media, to come up with the map. In every county that the Seahawks were the most popular team, Wilson was also the most popular player.

Of course, the PNW is still home to most 12s and they dominate the geographical fanbase. Including northern Oregon, all of Washington state and most of Idaho, the Seahawks are the team to follow save for a few random Saints fans. 12s already knew they were the best, though. Now they know where they have friends in the rest of the country too.
