This week the Seahawks face a team that always plays them tough, the Arizona Cardinals. I see five reasons Seattle will get back in the win column.

The Seahawks didn’t exactly play their best game of the season last Sunday when the Saints came to town. In fact, I’d say they played their worst football since a blowout 38-10 loss to the Packers in 2016. So this is a good time to visit a winless opponent. The Cards have a way of making the Hawks struggle, though. Okay, so they’re not exactly huge rivals yet. I’m still sure this one will be tough too. But I have my reasons to keep my faith in the gents in navy and gray.

Before I get to specifics, let’s review the things that went right for the Seahawks against the Saints. Much as they did in week two against the Steelers, the Hawks dominated the Saints in total yards. Seattle rolled up 515 yards to the Saints 265. The Hawks offense scored four touchdowns, all by Russell Wilson in one of the best performances of his career.

Seattle’s defense played well, aside from their inability to tackle Alvin Kamara. He does that to a lot of teams, though. The Saints offense scored three times, but twice on drives of less than 30 yards (counting the penalty on the missed field goal). The Saints won due to Seattle miscues. I simply can’t see that perfect storm of screwups happening two weeks in a row. So, on to the good stuff!
