The Bs

There aren’t any superstars among the B grades for the Seahawks. More, just a couple of solid performers who one day will likely have much bigger roles on the defense.

Ugo Amadi

Amadi needs to play more, I think, and he might get the chance soon. I believe Amadi is capable of being a very good slot cornerback given the chance. Veteran Jamar Taylor has struggled at times for Seattle in that very role this year. Why not give Amadi more of a chance?

Plus, as he has proven several times on special teams in his rookie year, Amadi likes to hit. Putting the fear of Kam Chancellor into opposing offenses is one thing that made Seattle’s defenses special this decade and Amadi can help bring that back.

Marquise Blair

Blair showed flashes of brilliance in the two games he started for Seattle in weeks 8 and 9. Against the Falcons, Blair was in on 11 tackles and had a forced fumble. The next week against the Buccaneers, Blair was in the right place at the correct time and should have had a pick of Jameis Winston. Instead, he let the ball bounce of his hands and into the arms of a Tampa Bay player for a touchdown. Blair will be a long-term starter one day, just not yet.
