Los Angeles Rams: DT Aaron Donald

This one is a no-brainer, right?

Aaron Donald is arguably the most physically gifted player in the NFL. Despite playing defensive tackle, he’s downright dominant, mixing overwhelming power with otherworldly quickness and fluidity in the trenches. There’s a reason he’s among the league’s most feared defenders.

The numbers obviously back it up. Since entering the NFL in 2014, Donald has tallied 72 sacks — including a league-leading 20.5 in 2018. Twice he’s been named the Defensive Player of the Year, voted to the Pro Bowl every season, and earned All-Pro honors in all but one.

Again, the guy is a monster. Any decent Seahawks fan knows what I’m talking about.

Imagine adding him to the Seattle defensive line. There’s already a need along the interior for another disruptive defensive tackle to team with Jarran Reed who can take pressure off the Seahawks’ modest group of edge rushers. Inserting Donald into that equation would immediately up the ante, giving this squad one of the most dangerous defensive fronts in the league.

Especially if, in this dream scenario, you could get Jones as well. It’s not often two of the NFL’s top pass rushers are on the same line. Bringing aboard Jones and Donald would give the Seahawks one of the best defensive line duos in team history — if not the best.
