DK Metcalf’s potential

Russell Wilson to DK Metcalf is, indeed, a work of art and one I expect to see more and more of throughout this season.

Metcalf himself has been quoted saying,

"If you want to be great, you’ve got to go get it."

Metcalf has also discussed his bond with his quarterback and how it is bigger than football. Wilson took Metcalf under his wing during his rookie season and built a tremendous relationship with him.

With a season under his belt and coming back to a contending team, Seattle Seahawks fans can expect Metcalf to have a breakout season. With his route tree developing and what is to be believed as a more throw first offense, Metcalf’s targets will increase, which means his production will also increase.

With the addition of Phillip Dorsett and Seattle reportedly keeping an eye on the situations of both Antonio Brown and Josh Gordon, Russell Wilson will certainly have one of the best-supporting casts he’s seen in his career. Combining that with the fact he loves to spread the ball and shows trust in all his wideouts would seem concerning for DK’s production increasing.

But, Wilson and DK have developed tremendous chemistry with each other thus far and I anticipate that they will continue to grow their working relationship in this upcoming season. DK and Tyler will continue to be the go-to guys for Russ and this offense.
