The Seattle Seahawks defeated the Miami Dolphins, 31-23, to improve to 4-0 on the season.

The Seattle Seahawks are now 4-0 for the first time since 2013. Interestingly enough, the 2013 Super Bowl Champion Seattle Seahawks, were led by their defense, nicknamed “The Legion of Boom”. Now, the Seahawks are led by their quarterback, with a slogan that nearly all of America has heard about, “Let Russ Cook”. Ironically, it was the Seahawks defense that was the story of week 4’s game as they finally showed up and showed out.

Here, we examine 5 takeaways in the Seattle Seahawks victory on the road over the Miami Dolphins.

Jamal Adams is always locked in

Yesterday, the Seattle Seahawks were once again without All-Pro safety Jamal Adams. He was injured in the week 3 victory over the Dallas Cowboys. With a strained groin, Adams did not see much of the practice field last week as he was dealing with soreness. The Seahawks announced on Friday, that Adams would be missing Sunday’s game. As a result, the All-Pro safety did not travel with the team.

Adams, who is known for bringing the energy on the sidelines and on the field still had an impact on this game. Expect this time, it was on social media.

Adams let America know he was watching his Hawks play as he posted a picture of him standing in front of his TV with the game on. Displayed in the image, Adams has a helmet on indicating that he’s always locked in.

Throughout the game, he was displaying what many Seattle Seahawks fan experience on a regular week to week basis: roller-coaster emotions. Adams was complimenting his teammates as well as encouraging them to finish the game.

After the game, Adams tweeted his excitement as well as a statement to the rest of the league.

He does have a point that this explosive offense is going to hit a whole other level when those two return to the field of play.

While Adams was entertaining during the game, we all hope he is able to suit up in this week’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
