Seahawks: 4 last minute trade ideas for the Seattle

Four last-minute trade ideas for the Seattle Seahawks.
The Seahawks’ biggest deficiency was completely exposed on Sunday nights game against the Arizona Cardinals. There are no if, and, or buts about it. The Seahawks desperately need a pass rusher if they are going to be a serious contender this year.
The team only registered 1 pressure on 49 dropbacks. That is an incredibly low 2.04% pressure rate. Sure, you can make an argument that Kyler Murray is just a different breed. However, 1 pressure is flat out unacceptable.
The team is hoping to get Jamal Adams and Darrell Taylor back from injury. They have been banking on this turning around the pass rush thus far. However, this feels circular. The team is always hoping some unknown player or some injured player will resurrect the team’s lack of pressure.
It is time that the Seahawks finally get on the forefront and aggressively look to remedy this situation. The team is in its Super Bowl window and needs to capitalize. The Seahawks can’t continually expect Russell Wilson to score 30+ points and be perfect to the point we squeak out a win.
That is simply unsustainable. In order for them to succeed, they need to have at least some semblance of balance on both sides of the ball. Even the 2013 Broncos, which was known for its offense, had some semblance of defense. They produced 16 forced fumbles, 17 interceptions, 94 tackles for a loss, 92 QB hits, and 41 sacks.
Compare that to the projected stats of the 2020 Seattle Seahawks: 16 forced fumbles, 21 interceptions, 77 tackles for a loss, 88 QB hits, and 24 sacks. As you can see we are actually not too far off outside of the massive 17 differentials in sacks. That’s all we need, get someone who will capitalize on the pressure, and get sacks consistently.
This article goes over the handful of players I think are at least semi-realistic and should be aggressively pursued.
