Trade target number 4: Ryan Kerrigan, DE

This is my favorite player to target. To me, Ryan Kerrigan is the safest bet. He has the production of J.J. Watt. The best part is, he hasn’t had near the injury issues Watt has had. The problem is, Washington may not want to trade their longtime star.

Kerrigan is the type of player Seattle would drool over acquiring. He is the KJ Wright of the defense. One of the smartest players in the NFL. Underrated beyond belief. Sustained production over his entire career. The perfect pro.

Kerrigan’s stats this year:

Tackles: 8

Sacks: 3

TFL: 1

QB hits: 1

QB Pressure: 12.8%

Now is the time you ask why we would want a player who has hardly any production this season. It’s an easy answer, the Washington Football Team’s defensive line is stacked. Kerrigan has slid back to a rotational role. He is playing a career-low 36% of snaps this year. However, when on the field, he has produced.

Next. Seahawks hurting heading into week 8. dark

Kerrigan can play anything from LEO to 5-tech, to the SAM linebacker. He is a versatile defensive lineman that can effectively and efficiently play all over. The perfect pick up. If Seattle could somehow convince Washington to let go of their aging star in a down year, Seattle would be all the better for it.
