Here are three things that will happen between the Seahawks and Bills week 9.

The Seattle Seahawks lead the NFC West by a game over the Arizona Cardinals through eight weeks of the NFL season. The Buffalo Bills lead the AFC East by 1 1/2 games over the Miami Dolphins. Week 9 when Seattle travels to Buffalo will be a matchup of two good teams.

Both teams have flaws, though. The Bills, who have been excellent defensively the last few years, have regressed a bit this year. Their front four has been ineffective when challenged by very good quarterbacks like Patrick Mahomes and Ryan Tannehill. And Russell Wilson is a top-tier quarterback, obviously.

Seattle, of course, struggles defensively in lots of ways but will be getting help this week when Jamal Adams returns and recent acquisitions Damn “Snacks” Harrison and Carlos Dunlap play their first downs for the Seahawks.

So what will happen when Seattle plays the Bills in week 9? Here are three predictions.

Jamal Adams and Carlos Dunlap will each have a sack

I still think the Seahawks are going to struggle defensively against the Bills. Sure, Seattle played well in week 8 against the San Francisco 49ers but the 49ers have so many injuries and a quarterback that is both injured and not very good that Seattle had it a bit easier last week. Buffalo will be a tough test.

That said, I think Jamal Adams and Carlos Dunlap both get sacks against the Bills. And this is tougher done than written because Bills quarterback Josh Allen has only been sacked 13 times in eight games this year. Allen is still going to have a good game, though.
