Russell Wilson will have 380 yards of total offense and Josh Allen will have more

Let me preface this prediction by saying I think Chris Carson plays on Sunday. This is important because Carson playing means Wilson has a running back who will pick up yards and not leave everything to Wilson. DeeJay Dallas was great in week 8 for a rookie who hardly had any playing experience in the NFL, but Carson is a different breed of cat.

All that said, Russell Wilson is still going to throw for 3 touchdowns and run for 35 yards. The only thing that seems to slow Wilson currently is Wilson himself. The Arizona Cardinals did pick Wilson off three times but they were all really bad throws or decisions by Wilson, not great defense. Yet, Seattle still scored 34 points in the loss.

Josh Allen, though, will produce more total yards than Wilson when Seattle and Buffalo meet. The Bills aren’t without talent at running back but Allen’s ability to move around in the pocket and scramble and also just to run on called plays will put pressure on Seattle’s not-great defense. (And one good week against the 49ers does not mean the Seattle defense is suddenly better).

Allen will throw for 360 yards and run for 45 yards. He will get his first two touchdown passes since week 6. But this game will be a slow burn, like every Seahawks game, until the fourth quarter.
