Aaron Donald gets 3 sacks

This isn’t breaking news to tell you that Aaron Donald is really good. Also, Donald is really good against the Seahawks. Donald currently leads the NFL in sacks with 9 and has 15 quarterback hits. If Donald were to play for the Seahawks (a person can dream, right?), he would lead the next closest player in sacks (Jarran Reed and Jamal Adams both have 3.5 for Seattle) by 5.5 sacks.

He will be the best defensive player on the field for either team on Sunday. Maybe the best player overall.

Donald has played 12 games against Russell Wilson and the Seahawks in his career. In those 12 games, the Rams are 8-4. Donald has 12 sacks in those games and 33 quarterback hits. Donald has a hit on Wilson in every game he has ever played against Seattle and has multiple hits in every game but two.

And I think Donald gets 3 sacks on Wilson on Sunday and I feel I am on the conservative side. In 2017 when the Rams destroyed the Seahawks 42-7, Donald had 3 sacks. He has had three other games where he has had more than 1 sack on Wilson. But with no Ethan Pocic on Sunday and a rookie right guard in Damien Lewis, Donald could find his way to tackle Wilson more than 3 times.
