Here is how to watch and what to watch for when the Seahawks play the Jets.

The Seattle Seahawks host the New York Jets on Sunday in week 14 of the 2020 season. Seattle is 8-4 but has lost four of its last seven games. That is still better than the Jets who have yet to win a game in 2020 and appear to be awful both offensively and defensively. But New York almost beat a decent Las Vegas Raiders team last week so New York isn’t going to roll over.

But let’s be clear here. A Seattle loss to the Jets would simply be inexcusable. The Jets are completely terrible defending the pass and will have three rookie cornerbacks playing against Russell Wilson, D.K. Metcalf and Tyler Lockett and company. If Seattle has issues throwing against New York, something is badly messed up somewhere.

On defense, Seattle needs to allow the Jets to run less productively than the Giants did against Seattle in week 13. Seattle took one quarter off last week from playing the run really well against a bad quarterback and that was enough to cost Seattle a win (along with atrocious offense).

If Seattle does not stay disciplined on defense and tries the run the ball too much against a bad Jets secondary, New York could find its way to its first victory of the season and Seattle will have another embarrassing loss.
