The Seattle Seahawks play their first home game of 2021 against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday. Seattle is 1-0 after a pretty solid victory over the Colts in Indy in week one. Tennessee, however, got blown out by the Cardinals in their first game. Of course, things in the NFL change week to week so let’s not assume this will be an easy Seattle win.

First of all, if Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill has time to throw, Tennessee has a very talented receiving group and can expose Seattle’s corners, especially if D.J. Reed has to miss the game. Reed has a calf injury and was limited in practice on Friday.

Offensively, Russell Wilson and Company need to prove that this offense is different under Shane Waldron than it was in previous seasons. Seattle got off to a really good start in the first half in week one but in the second half the Seahawks scored just once. They will likely need to be consistent through the game against the Titans to get a win.

What our staff thinks will happen in week 2 between Seahawks and Tennessee

In week one, our staff all predicted a Seattle victory so we seem to be a more confident group this year. Usually, there is an outlier or two that predicts a Seattle loss. However, we are unified again this week as well. We all think Seattle is going to win but most think it will be a close game.

For me, I’d rather each Seattle game go as it did in week one when there wasn’t a lot of drama late. Here are our score predictions.

Geoff Shull: Seahawks 24 Titans 17

Todd Vandenberg: Seahawks 33 Titans 18

Lee Vowell: Seattle 26 Titans 21

Andrew Bailie: Seattle 31 Titans 28

Jake Luppino: Seahawks 31 Titans 20
