The Seahawks have an extremely important game against the 49ers in week 4. A loss drops Seattle to 1-3 and basically 2 1/2 games back of the 49ers as San Francisco would have the head-to-head advantage over Seattle. Unfortunately, neither the Rams nor Cardinals have lost at all.

While there are now 17 games in an NFL season, Seattle falling to 1-3 is much worse than if Seattle played in nearly any other division. The NFC West holds no prisoners this season as every team is capable of being really good.

Seattle did get some good news earlier on Sunday when Adam Schefter tweeted that receiver Tyler Lockett will play. The 49ers are just as banged up at cornerback as they are at running back so Russell Wilson and his receiving corps should be able to take advantage.

Here are the Seahawks inactives for week 4 versus the 49ers

Several Seahawks were already been ruled out for week 4. This includes right tackle Brandon Shell (ankle), defensive end Benson Mayowa (neck), running back Rashaad Penny (calf) and tight end Gerald Everett (COVID-19 list).

For San Francisco, all four of their top running backs are out (which seems insane and makes you wonder which of their backs will be the one to get over 100 yards rushing this week) and corner K’Waun Williams (calf) was ruled out before Sunday as well.

But now we know that Seattle will keep out Jamarco Jones (concerning as he was one of the players backing up Shell), corner John Reid, defensive end L.J. Collier (a healthy scratch for the third time in four games) and receiver Dee Eskridge.

The 49ers won’t have corner Josh Norman either nor offensive lineman Aaron Banks or defensive lineman Zach Kerr. With no Norman, Willaims and other corners, Russell Wilson should have a very productive game on Sunday.
