Denver Broncos

You knew this was inevitable. It will be weird, and awkward. Both sides will play nice, while passive-aggressively pointing fingers throughout the week. Some fans will cheer, and many will boo. It will likely be one of the biggest games in the NFL this season. Russell Wilson coming back to Seattle as a Bronco.

This Denver Broncos team has the potential to be great, they also happen to play in the toughest division in the NFL. That means these non-divisional games are almost a must-win, especially against a much different Seahawks team than we’ve seen in years.

The Seahawks, while likely underdogs, will view this game as their super bowl in 2022. I expect an epic battle where Seattle goes 60 minutes with an extremely talented Broncos squad.

I predict that this will be Sunday Night Football’s Week 2 matchup. It will be billed as Russ vs Pete. The Cook against smash mouth football. Mike Tirico and Cris Collinsworth will take the call as NBC’s new duo with an epic early-season matchup.

An emotional, but important early test for both teams. For Seattle fans hoping the Seahawks get the best possible draft picks in 2023, they may actually be hoping for a tie. I hope we get a conclusion to a long, and emotional saga.

Next. 3 free agents the Seahawks should consider right now. dark

That is until they meet again…in a future Super Bowl…with Tom Brady calling the game!
