Seahawks QB option 1: Bryce Young – Alabama

If the 2022 season for the Seattle Seahawks falls apart, and they find themselves at the bottom of the standings, they will get a chance to draft a top quarterback in the 2023 rookie draft. Even if the team finishes in the middle of the standings, they are equipped with two first-rounders and two second-rounders in the 2023 draft, and they can easily use those to move up on the draft to try and acquire the quarterback of the future.

Alabama QB Bryce Young will be an intriguing player for the Seahawks. Despite his small stature (6’0″ 194 lbs) compared to his quarterback counterpart, Bryce Young threw for 4,872 yards with 47 touchdowns with only 7 interceptions. Young’s arm talent should not be questioned.

As per Pro Football Focus, Bryce Young has no problem working over the middle of the field as he only trailed 2022 Steelers draftee Kenny Pickett in passing grade (93.8) and only Bailey Zappe in total passing yards (2,642) on throws between the numbers.

Just imagine Bryce Young throwing in the middle to a wide-open Tyler Lockett or going deep to DK Metcalf. It would bring back some old memories, doesn’t it?
