Seahawks running back Ken Walker III will run for 200 yards

I will admit I also predicted Walker to run for 200 yards in Week 9, too. He didn’t do badly at all, of course, but he didn’t run for 200 yards. But one day, and possibly one day soon, the rookie running back and blooming superstar will pass the 200 yards mark. And I am going to guess it will happen in Week 10 for several reasons.

For one, while the Buccaneers are really good against the pass they aren’t very good against the run. Tampa Bay is 5th in points allowed per game (18.2) and 12th in pressure percentage when trying to chase down quarterbacks, but 21st in yards allowed per rush (4.6) and 23rd in yards allowed rushing per game. Simply put, the Bucs are tough to beat when you throw against them but can be defeated with a good running game.

Tampa Bay has allowed 151 yards or more rushing in four games this year. They won one of those games. The Rams did struggle to run against Tampa Bay in Week 9 but then Los Angeles doesn’t have a running back as capable as Ken Walker. Few teams do. Walker has started just four games in 2022, but he is 15th in the NFL in rushing (570) with 512 yards coming in the last five games. Walker is also fourth in rushing touchdowns with 7.

If Seattle is victorious in Week 10 in Germany, Ken Walker is going to be a huge reason why. Geno Smith will need to make impactful throws as well, of course, and the offense needs to keep the Bucs off-balance. But near the end of the game, Walker needs to be The Guy and he will get over 200 yards rushing.
