The NFL playoffs are almost upon us, and all teams who are in contention are battling it out to make it to the dance. The Seattle Seahawks is one of the teams who is looking to get invited to the dance, however, back-to-back defeats in the hands of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Las Vegas Raiders had them in the outside looking in.

A Week 13 clash with their NFC West division rival, the Los Angeles Rams, who are spiraling down in the standings was just the right medicine to cure the two-game skid. It was not as pretty but the Seahawks were able to manage to defeat the injured-riddled Rams.

The Seahawks win, accompanied by the Washington Commanders and New York Giants tie, have them inside a wild card spot with a 7-5 record. The hard-fought win also saved what could have been a disastrous meltdown as the Seahawks were able to consecutively win 4 games to only see them lose 3 straight and not make the playoffs. Also, it would have been a laugher and infuriating at the same time if the Seahawks were to get defeated by the Rams who were without key players on this game.

Thoughts from the Seahawks Week 13 victory over the Rams

The Rams were without starting quarterback Matthew Stafford (neck), wide receivers Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Allen Robinson (foot), and defensive tackle Aaron Donald (ankle) to name some. This game for the Seattle Seahawks was supposed to be a cakewalk, but as this season shows, this team still has a lot to figure out to be considered a serious contender this year. Here are the 3 Notes from this Week 13 victory by the Seahawks against the Rams.
