Tyler Lockett’s injury might be a season-ender

If the Seattle Seahawks’ loss against their division rival, the San Francisco 49ers was not painful enough, the Seahawks might have lost their heart and soul in this game as well due to injury. Tyler Lockett went down with a broken finger in this game that needed surgery, thus putting his season in limbo this year.

Seahawks faithful shares the same sentiment with head coach Pete Carroll as we cannot imagine not seeing Tyler Lockett playing in the field for the 12. Lockett has been the quiet leader of this team throughout the years, more so this year with the departure of Russell Wilson. Also, it will be hard to replace what Lockett has done on the field.

Tyler Lockett has been playing one of his best seasons to date, as coming into this Thursday night game against the 49ers, he was riding a six-game of scoring a touchdown. Unfortunately, that touchdown streak was ended, and it seems like so is Tyler Lockett’s 2022 season.

Somehow, someone has to step up in the absence of Lockett, which will be hard to do as Tyler has found a knack for finding open spaces around the field making it easier for Geno Smith to throw the ball to. We wish Tyler Lockett a very speedy recovery.
