On Monday night, the college football world will descend upon Los Angeles and SoFi Stadium as the most improbable College Football Playoff National Championship will unfold. For 12s, this is an important game because we certainly might be seeing some future Seahawks involved. We can assume general manager John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll will be watching.

The challengers, the Horned Frogs of TCU, are the most improbable championship participant we have seen possibly forever. 200 to 1 odds at the beginning of the season, picked to finish seventh in the Big 12, fans of the Frogs were more concerned about being bowl eligible than winning their first championship since 1938.

The defending champs, the Georgia Bulldogs, are massive favorites. They are hoping to avoid the upset and put an exclamation point on one of the most dominant two-year runs we’ve seen in college football. With NFL talent all over their roster, including potentially 4 first-round picks, it is no surprise to see the Bulldogs as 12.5-point favorites.

The top targets in the college national championship game for the Seahawks

Even if this epic David vs Goliath battle in Hollywood doesn’t live up to the billing, there are numerous players on both squads that should be on the Seattle Seahawks draft board. With the Seahawks looking at the number five overall pick thanks to Denver. The Seahawks will also likely have the 19th or 20th overall pick.

There is a really strong chance that the Seahawks will select a player that will be playing in the big game tonight. Before Monday’s college football season gets underway, we take a look at the top 15 players in tonight’s championship that the Seahawks should look to draft in April.
