The Seattle Seahawks are back in first place in the NFC West, but just barely. In a division where the San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Rams were expected to run away in most preseason predictions, every team is either 6-5 or 5-6. Every team still has a chance to win the division.

That makes every game important for Seattle. They need to win every game they should, especially when the schedule still has teams like the Minnesota Vikings and Green Bay Packers on it. Seattle faces the disappointing New York Jets and the Seahawks need to win against reeling quarterback Aaron Rodgers and his team.

The Seahawks are also fresh off of two impressive back-to-back victories. They have not had to play a 10 am PT game in a while, though, so that might have a bearing on the outcome. In other words, this might be the ultimate trap game for Seattle, and here is how to watch the action unfold.

Seahawks vs. Jets announcers for Week 13

12s, there might be a little luck here! Last week when Seattle defeated the Cardinals to take over first place in the NFC West (for now), the FOX broadcast crew consisted of Adam Amin on play-by-play, Mark Sanchez doing analysis, and Kristina Pink reporting from the sidelines. This week, the same crew will be calling the Seahawks and Jets game so maybe Amin, Sanchez, and Pink are good luck for Seattle. That's the hope.

Like last week, however, if you do not live in the Pacific Northwest or in the New York area, you are likely going to want to have the NFL Sunday Ticket, find a friend who does, or go to your local restaurant that does. If you live in Seattle, you can catch the game on FOX 13. If you live in NYC, you can watch the game on FOX 5.

Seahawks vs. Jets officiating crew for Week 13

The head official for Seattle versus New York will be Carl Cheffers. Cheffers has had an interesting career, but a successful one. He has refereed three Super Bowls, though his second - Super Bowl LV which featured the Tampa Bay Buccaneers against the Kansas City Chiefs - featured a record number of first-half penalties for the Chiefs. Cheffers also was the referee during the "Miracle in Motown" game in 2015 when the Packers threw a Hail Mary pass to beat the Lions.

The crew he oversees includes Brandon Cruse, Mike Carr, Robin DeLorenzo, Eugene Hall, Nate Jones, Martin Hankins, Kirt Shay, and Brian Davies. Cheffers and his crew also called the Seahawks Week 2 victory over the New England Patriots. There were just nine penalties total in that game.

How to listen to Seahawks vs. Jets

Let's assume you like to turn the sound down on your TV and listen to the game on the radio or your favorite streaming service. You can do that with the Seahawks and Jets. In the Seattle area, you can listen at Seattle Sports 710 AM or KIRO Newsradio 97.3. Seattle's radio team is Steve Raible doing play-by-play, Dave Wyman doing analysis, and Jen Mueller reporting from the sideline.

SiriusXM has two dedicated channels to listen to the game. Those are 119 and 382. If you have an NFL+ subscription, you can listen to the game there as well.
