The Seattle Seahawks are about to go from the proverbial frying pan into the fire. After a somewhat unexpected victory in Atlanta over the Falcons in Week 7, Seattle goes back to Lumen Field to face the very good Buffalo Bills. Seattle also might be down DK Metcalf in the game.

The Seahawks' best receiver suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain in Week 7 and has been deemed week-to-week. 12s won't know if he can play until likely later in the week. If he can't play, Seattle might need Kenneth Walker III to be even more special against Buffalo.

We had the chance to catch up with Bills expert Brandon Ray from BuffaloLowDown and get some insights about the Bills ahead of the game. Ray had some things to say about the Bills that might worry Seahawks fans.

Seahawks vs. Bills Week 8 insights

1.) Josh Allen was already extremely efficient passing before the addition of wide receiver Amari Cooper. How much does getting Cooper help Allen and the offense overall?

The addition of Amari Cooper for the Buffalo Bills’ offense is a massive upgrade. It is a perfect fit for both sides. The Bills were lacking a true WR1 presence and Cooper’s season was going down the drain in Cleveland. Pairing Cooper with Allen to go along with the rest of the receiving core makes Buffalo’s offense more of a threat.

2.) The Bills' defensive rushing statistics are thrown off a bit by what happened against the Baltimore Ravens, but what kind of weaknesses might Geno Smith and the Seahawks try to exploit against Buffalo?

The run defense for the Bills has been average at best this season. However, another weakness that they have is not recognizing the play-action calls on defense. Last Sunday against the Titans, Mason Rudolph made Buffalo’s defense look foolish off of simple play-action passes in the first half and the Bills couldn’t stop it at all. While the adjustment came on in the second half, the first half was abysmal to watch.

3.) Who are some unsung Bills players that Seahawks fans might not know but should be worried about?

Some unsung Bills players that should put fear into Seahawks fans include rookie DT DeWayne Carter and rookie RB Ray Davis (that’s right, two rookies!). Carter has seen action the last three weeks while Ed Oliver was healing from a hamstring injury and his run-stopping abilities came up big for Buffalo at various moments.

For Ray Davis, he is the perfect complementary back for James Cook. Davis is a hard runner who has his breakout game against the Jets two weeks (over 100+ all-purpose yards) and then he led the Bills in rushing last week.
