The Seattle Seahawks are done with their only bye week for the 2024 season and sit at 4-5 and in last place in the NFC West. Every other team in the division has four losses, though, so Seattle isn't mathematically incapable of winning the division. It's unlikely, but anything can happen.

The issue is that Seattle's second-half schedule is not easy, especially as five of the remaining eight games are on the road. Seattle starts with two NFC West rivals so if both of those are losses, the Seahawks' season is probably done. They would be 0-4 in the division.

How might the second half shape up, though? Could Seattle shock many pundits and still make a run at the postseason? Or will Seattle jockey for better 2025 NFL draft position? Here are guesses on how the remainder of 2024 will go.

Predictions for every Seattle Seahawks second half of the 2024 season game

Week 11 - At the San Francisco 49ers

Let's end the drama early with this game. Seattle has not beaten the 49ers since December of 2021. San Francisco has running back Christian McCaffrey back from injury, and he had over 100 total yards in Week 10, his first game of the season. Any rust he had against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be gone against the Seahawks. The last time Seattle came within one score of the 49ers was in December 2022. Seattle will lose this one by double-digits, 31-17.

Seahawks record: 4-6

Week 12 - Home versus the Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals are a surprising 6-4 and in first place in the NFC West. The positive for Seattle is that this game is at Lumen Field - one of just three home games in the second half for the Seahawks - and Arizona is just 2-2 on the road. Still, Arizona and Seattle are complete opposites in how the players likely feel for each team. Arizona is beginning to believe and Seattle is beginning to doubt. The Cardinals win 23-17.

Seahawks record: 4-7

Week 13 - At the New York Jets

New York and Aaron Rodgers have a terrible offense. In their last seven games, the Jets have not scored more than 22 points in any game and have scored less than 10 twice. One reason New York is a disappointing 3-7 is that their defense is not performing at the same level it has in the previous two seasons - New York, for instance, is 24th in rushing yards allowed per game. Seattle has to win this game, which will likely be a low-scoring affair. Seattle wins 17-14.

Seahawks record: 5-7

Week 14 - At the Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals began the season 2-4 but have since won four straight. They have not allowed a touchdown in their last three home games and defense was supposed to be Arizona's issue this season. Quarterback Kyler Murray is completing nearly 70 percent of his passes and is second in the league in Total QBR. Arizona is where Seattle hoped to be through the first half of the season. Arizona wins 24-9.

Seahawks record: 5-8

Week 15 - Home versus the Green Bay Packers

Green Bay is a solid 7-3 but barely hanging on to a playoff spot. They are unlikely to win the NFC North, as the Detroit Lions have just one loss. Plus, the Minnesota Vikings have lost just two so far. Green Bay still has to play the 49ers and Lions before the Seahawks, so this game might be a must-win game for the Packers which means they might be extra-motivated. Green Bay wins 27-21.

Seahawks record: 5-9

Week 16 - Home versus the Minnesota Vikings

After a brilliant start to the season, quarterback Sam Darnold is looking a bit more like his less efficient older self. He has thrown five interceptions in the last two games and is now tied for the league lead (along with Geno Smith) in picks. Still, the Vikings can win games because of their defense which creates a lot of turnovers. Seattle somehow gets a sneaky win here (23-20), with Kenneth Walker III being extremely productive.

Seahawks record: 6-9

Week 17 - At the Chicago Bears on Thursday Night Football

Rookie quarterback Caleb Williams has been under pressure quite a bit this season and has been sacked a league-leading 38 times. This has stunted his growth. He does limit his turnovers, but his offense is not overly productive. In the Bears' last three games - all losses, Williams has thrown no interceptions but no touchdowns either. Seattle wins a close game, 19-17.

Seahawks record: 7-9

Week 18 - At the Los Angeles Rams

Since December 2017, Seattle is 4-11 against the Rams. The Seahawks defense probably played well enough to win in Week 9, but the red zone offense was awful, and Geno Smith threw two horrible interceptions. At this point, Seattle has to see the Rams' uniforms and assume bad things are going to happen. LA wins 26-17.

Seahawks final record: 7-10
