Among the many good things that happened when the Seattle Seahawks defeated the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2 was one bad thing: Rookie running back Jadarian Price was forced to leave the game with what was first reported as a chest injury. In fact, the issue appears to be with his shoulder, according to head coach Mike Macdonald.
Speaking on his morning-after show on Seattle Sports 710 AM, Macdonald said that the shoulder is intact and "nothing serious, it seems like." That doesn't sound overly great, but better than it might have otherwise been.
It is the "seems like" part that is concerning, but it could also turn out to be a turn of phrase and meaningless. The coach didn't have the exact injury (he isn't a doctor, after all), but said that the ailment related to a "technical term for somehwere up in your shoulder."

Seattle Seahawks running back Jadarian Price injury updates
The team so far has not updated further information, though this article will be updated with the latest below. The positive part is that if Price does need to miss time at any point, Emanuel Wilson looked sharp in the second half of Week 2 as the only running back left (George Holani was evaluated for a concussion, which was negative).
Price was, of course, Seattle's first-round choice this year out of Notre Dame. He was teammates with Arizona Cardinals running back Jeremiyah Love, who was also a first-round selection this year.
So far through two games, Price has run 23 times for 106 yards, a solid average of 4.6 yards per carry. He has forced seven missed tackles and has picked up six first downs. Of his 106 rushing yards, 89 of them are after contact. In other words, he doesn't go down easily.
Price has also caught three passes on four targets for 14 yards. He hasn't yet made an impact in the passing game, but sometimes that takes time for a rookie to develop.
