After a dramatic offseason last year which included the massive trade of Russell Wilson to the Broncos, there were a lot of question marks surrounding the Seahawks' future without the Super Bowl champion quarterback.

Things over the years leading up to Wilson's trade hadn't been perfect, and a massive change felt like it was on the horizon.

Although the team's outlook seemed bleak at the time, the decision to trade the quarterback appears to have kicked the rebuilding process into high gear, as GM John Schneider and head coach Pete Carroll have seemingly had a dramatic shift in their team-building philosophies.

Much of the effort led the Seahawks back into the playoffs last season, even with a new veteran quarterback under center that didn't excite many people when he first arrived.

Now that more changes have been made this offseason, with significant changes taking place on other teams in the division as well, the Seahawks are in an excellent position to get back to being a dominant team in the NFC again.

No team is perfect, obviously, but Seattle has a few strengths that could put them above their competition as they prepare for the 2023 season.
