The Seattle Seahawks need a victory in Week 15 against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. This is not only the case for potential playoff position, but simply for the mental health of the locker room. Four straight losses with a fifth staring Seattle's players in the face is not fun. But will the weather be a potential factor in the outcome of Week 15?

According to NFL Weather, there is a decent chance of classic Seattle heavy drizzle, but the temperatures and the wind should not be a problem. The temps should hold steady through the mid-40s for the entire game while there is a 75-90 percent chance of rain the entire game, too. The wind will be extremely light, however, at less than 5 MPH.

Both the Seahawks and the Eagles are used to playing in worse conditions than say the Miami Dolphins. It rains in Seattle a lot and Philadelphia is often cloud-covered. The point is that neither team should struggle with a wet ball or a wet field. (Now I am just hoping I am not jinxing anything that could happen negatively in the game to Seattle.)

What will the weather be like for Seahawks vs. Eagles on Monday Night Football?

The bigger question for both teams instead of the weather is the health of both teams' starting quarterbacks. Geno Smith injured his groin ahead of Week 14 and missed the San Francisco 49ers game last week. Jalen Hurts of the Eagles has come down with an illness that worsened through the weekend and he is listed as questionable for Monday.

Kickoff is not set until 5:15 pm PT but weather conditions are not expected to devolve throughout the day. As long as Seattle can handle a little rain, the Seahawks should have a good chance of upsetting the 10-3 Eagles team. Seattle better, or winning their last three games to make the playoffs becomes a must.
