The Seattle Seahawks play their second glorified scrimmage of the 2024 preseason when Seattle takes on the Tennessee Titans in Nashville at Nissan Stadium. The teams held two joint practices in the days leading up to the game so that has made Saturday's contest relatively moot. Starters for both teams are not expected to play much, if at all.

That won't stop fans from showing up to watch the game. We can still learn a lot from it as well. Starters on offense and defense will take up 22 spots on a roster. That leaves another 28 spots to be battled for (minus the three specialists on special teams).

In other words, just because most starters won't be playing does not mean we won't see players fighting for the roster lives. If anything, there might be even more aggression and fierceness between the players. They are trying to earn a paycheck instead of only getting themselves ready for the upcoming season.

What is the weather like for Seahawks vs. Titans Preseason Week 2?

Let's say you are going to the game in Nashville and you have flown in from Seattle. The first thing you need to know is that the humidity will be stifling compared to Seattle. That only is going to make a person sweat and this will be an exceedingly sweaty game.

According to NFLWeather (dot) com, the temperatures at game-time are expected to be in the mid-90s with winds around 8 mph. There is a 23 percent chance of storms.

The temps hold steady until the fourth quarter when they will drop to around 90. So, still very hot. The chance of storms drops to around 15 percent.

In slightly better weather news, the Weather Channel app says temps will only be in the mid-80s and there is very little chance of rain at game-time. By the fourth quarter, temperatures will be closer to 80. Not terrible, but still humid.

At least the sun will be starting to set near the end of the game. Then you can walk across the pedestrian bridge from the stadium to downtown and sweat some more while watching all the beer pedal carts make their way around downtown.
