How to listen to Seahawks vs. Lions Week 4 game on the radio

Entering Week 4, the Seattle Seahawks are a banged-up team on defense. Seattle won't have Boye Mafe, Uchenna Nwosu, Leonard Williams, or Byron Murphy II available. That would not seem to bode well against a Detroit Lions team that has a good offense.

Of note, however, is that Seattle has won the last three meetings between the teams because Geno Smith has been able to outscore the Lions. He might need to do that again on Monday Night Football. At least, Seattle gets running back Kenneth Walker III back for the game.

But let's say you can't watch the game. Maybe you are afraid to. You can listen instead. Here is how.

Seattle has won the six matchups between the teams dating back to 2012. In the last three, Seattle has played like an offensive powerhouse. They have scored at least 37 points in each game. With so many injuries on defense, Seattle might need another offensive explosion to win.

Every game can be heard in the Seattle area on Seattle Sports 710 AM and KIRO Newsradio 97.3 FM. Quite a few radio stations in the Pacific Northwest will also carry the game. Those stations can be found on the Seahawks Radio Network. Steve Raible will do the play-by-play for the Seahawks, with Dave Wyman providing commentary, and Jen Mueller will report from the sidelines.

Lions radio network

The flagship station for the Lions is 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit, but there are a lot of stations that will carry the game throughout the state of Michigan. Those can be found on the Lions Radio Network.

National radio options

SiriusXM has a station for each of the Seahawks and Detroit. Seattle's is 228 and the Lions' is 229. You can also sign up for a three-month trial of SiriusXM, but why end it in December and before the season is over?

If you live in the Seattle area, you can tune in on the Seahawks app and at Seahawks.com. The same can be said for 12s that live in Detroit for the Lions' official sites. The apps can be found at the Google Play Store and the Apple Store.

Radio streaming services

Most of the following sites require a subscription (though usually not too expensive), but you can tune in to the game at iHeartRadio, TuneIn, radio.net, Online Radio Box, and Audacy. Just look for the Seahawks Radio Network, and you should be able to find what you need.

If you have a phone, and of course you do, then you can listen to the game on that device as well. NFL+ carries the radio calls of games. You can choose between home and away broadcasts (for Week 4, you'll need to choose the away one, of course). You just have to find the game on the app, which is available at the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
