Historically, the Seattle Seahawks aren't known for being big spenders in free agency. The success they have found congruent to not only winning Super Bowl XLVIII but having 11 winning seasons during Pete Carroll's 14-year tenure was a result of building within. When Pete Carroll returned to the NFL, he brought an advantage when it came to drafting due to his scouting experience at USC.

Of course, that is when Seattle reached its greatest height. But, even over the last two seasons, one of the reasons this coaching position was deemed one of the best was because of the youth on the roster. Outside of the draft, the Seahawks have been able to find key players in free agency. Most notably, Uchenna Nwosu last year and Julian Love this past season.

While they aren't big spenders, John Schneider and Pete Carroll were smart in the type of player they targeted. Now, this will be the first off-season where Schneider is in complete control, but I would assume his ideology will be the same.

This Seahawks team isn't missing much. One major question seemed to already be answered when they decided to keep Geno Smith on the roster last week, ensuring him his guaranteed money of $12.7 million. Over the last two years, they have found their running backs, pillars of the offensive line, and starters in the secondary, and solidified their wide receiving core.

The argument for depth on the offensive and defensive line is valid. Heck, even a starter on the defensive line would be warranted. However, in this thread, we are going to not focus on the impending Seattle free agents. The likes of Bobby Wagner, Leonard Williams, Jordyn Brooks, and others. Instead, we are going to focus on who Seattle can bring in from a different organization. Here are 4 realistic free agents the Seattle Seahawks can sign.
