5 coaches that could eventually replace Pete Carroll with the Seahawks

Seahawks replacement for Pete Carroll No. 1: Dan Quinn
Dan Quinn seems like he has been around for 100 years, but that's not a bad thing. He spent two seasons with the Seahawks as the defensive coordinator and those were arguably two of the best defenses in the history of the NFL. Yes, in 2013 and 2014 - Quinn's seasons as DC - Seattle had the players to be great, but Quinn's scheme augmented the talent.
Other Seahawks news
I also think Dan Quinn got a raw deal after he become the head coach for the Atlanta Falcons. In Quinn's second season in Atlanta (2016) he led his team to the Super Bowl where they led the New England Patriots 28-3 before the hellish second half when the Falcons fell apart and lost the game. After the 2017 season, the Falcons were tight against the cap, the roster was getting older, and the team had a lot less talent.
Quinn' was fired five games into the 2020 season and then became the defensive cordinator for the Dallas Cowboys in 2021. Dallas has had a sensational defense under Quinn. For years, the Cowboys could score points but couldn't really stop other teams consistently. Quinn changed that immediately and in 2021 the Cowboys were seventh in points allowed and in 2022 they were fifth.
Quinn is only 52 years old so he also likely has a long coaching career in front of him. Pete Carroll, as we know, is a loyal guy so it would make sense to bring back a defensive-minded coach he is familiar with. In fact, Dan Quinn might be the next best thing to Carroll and that would mean a lot of future wins for the Seahawks.
